Working out of Eon IT Park, Ramboll India Pvt. Ltd. has a bit of a different feel compared to a small street shop. Even though it is a big tech park, our daily life is pretty grounded. We spend our days navigating the elevators and the big hallways before settling into our desks. The office has that typical corporate park layout, but we try to keep our little corner feeling a bit more personal. There are rows of workstations and everyone is usually focused on their own monitors, working on designs or calculations. Eon IT Park is like its own little city with cafeterias and people walking everywhere during lunch breaks. It can feel a bit repetitive, the same routine of swiping the ID card and finding a parking spot. We deal with a lot of data and technical drawings. The air conditioning is always blasting, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even when it is hot outside. We have our meetings in small glass rooms, talking through the details of whatever project is on the table. It is a professional place, but we still have our jokes and our coffee runs to keep things human. Despite the scale of the park, our work comes down to the same basic stuff—solving problems and getting the details right. It is a busy atmosphere, but we just take it one task at a time.
