Our place is tucked away at Plot No. 26 near Wanaworie Bazar. If you know the Camelia Glimpse area, you’ve probably passed us without thinking much about it. We work on drainage systems and all that side of things. It’s not the most glamorous work in the world, dealing with pipes and underground stuff, but someone has to do it. The yard gets pretty muddy when it rains, which is ironic considering what we do. We have a small crew and we spend most of our time out at different sites or checking the stock in the back. Sometimes the materials don't arrive when they should and we have to shuffle the schedule around. It can be frustrating. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the parts fit and the water goes where it is supposed to go. Lunch is usually just something quick from the bazar nearby. There is always a stack of blueprints or permits sitting on the table that need looking at. The office gets a bit cramped when everyone is back at the same time. We’ve been at this for a while now and we know the local ground conditions pretty well. It’s just honest work with a lot of heavy lifting. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a drawing or answer some emails that piled up. The phone rings at odd hours but that’s just how the business is here.
