We are located up in Kumar Pushpak on N.I.B.M. Road in Pune. Our office, unit 201, is where most of the work happens. NIBM is a pretty active part of the city these days, so there is always something happening outside. We started Dp Architects because we wanted a place to just do good work without all the corporate nonsense. Our day usually starts with a lot of coffee and looking over the project list. We do a lot of residential and commercial planning. It’s a lot of back and forth with clients and engineers. The office isn't overly decorated; it's mostly just functional space with plenty of light for drafting. We have some good bookshelves filled with old manuals and code books that we still use all the time. Pune has changed a lot since we first set up here, and the traffic on NIBM Road can be a real headache, but we like the location. We are just a group of people who know how to put buildings together. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations, we'd rather just show the plans and get to work. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. Most of our clients are locals or people who have seen our work around the neighborhood. We just keep doing what we do, one drawing at a time, until the job is done. It's a solid way to spend the day.
