You can find Diveera Farmer Producer Company Limited over at Orange Plaza, specifically in the A wing at 615/2. We set up our base there under Ravindra Janardan Dangore’s name. It’s a decent spot for us to handle the business side of our farming group. Most of us are actually out in the fields most of the week, so the office isn’t always packed with people. We started this company because we wanted to have a better way to organize our farming activities and maybe get a bit of a better deal when it comes to buying supplies. It’s a lot of work coordinating between all the different farmers, and sometimes it feels like we are just barely keeping up with the rules and the lists. But we are making it work. We aren't some big city firm with shiny desks and expensive suits. We are people who know what it’s like to have dirt under our fingernails. Orange Plaza gives us a central place to meet up and sort out the logistics of moving our produce. It’s a practical setup. We try to keep things simple and honest. We just want to make sure that the effort we put into our land actually pays off at the end of the harvest. It’s a slow build, but we are getting there. It takes time to get these things right but we are patient and keep working hard every day to make it successful.
