Disha Netralaya

Our clinic, Disha Netralaya, is located on the first floor of Janai Heights, right along the Pune Nasik Highway in the Bhosari area. If you are driving on that road, you have likely passed the building many times. It is a very busy stretch of highway with a lot of trucks and cars going by at all hours. We have been here for a number of years now, focusing on eye care for the local community. The office itself is quite straightforward. We have the standard equipment for checking vision and testing for glasses. It can get a little noisy from the traffic outside, but we have thick windows to help keep it calm inside for the patients. There is an elevator in the building, which is good because some of our older patients find the stairs a bit much. Most of the people who come to see us are from Bhosari or the nearby neighborhoods. We spend our day doing eye exams and helping people pick out frames if they need them. We are not a giant medical corporation. It is just a small team of us working here every day. Sometimes we get a bit backed up on Saturdays because that is when everyone is off work, but we try to get through the list. We keep some chairs in the waiting area and a few old magazines to look at. It is a practical place to get your eyes checked without any extra fuss. We like being part of the local business scene here.
