Our office is tucked away in Avanti Apartment over on Plot No 32 in Pune. It’s a decent spot, right in the middle of everything but still quiet enough to get some drawing done. Most of the time, the place is a bit of a mess with fabric samples, wood chips, and blueprints spread across the desks. We do both architecture and interior work, so one day we’re talking about structural walls and the next we’re trying to find a laminate that doesn't look terrible. Pune has changed a lot, and we see it in the kinds of projects people bring to us now. The apartment office feels more like a home than a corporate space, which we like. There’s always someone making tea or arguing about where a socket should go in a kitchen layout. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there working on a computer. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with contractors and suppliers, trying to make sure things actually get built the way they were drawn. Sometimes the deadlines are tight and we stay late, listening to the city sounds outside. It's just us, some drafting tools, and a lot of coffee most days. We focus on the practical side of things because at the end of the day, someone has to actually live in these spaces.
