Devi Tractor Spares

If you head down to Hadapsar Station Road, you’ll find our shop. We’ve been here at 41406 for a long time, mostly dealing in tractor spares. It’s a dusty part of town and our shop reflects that. The shelves are filled with heavy iron parts, rubber gaskets, and all sorts of things that smell like a machine shop. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of the parts are just in their original boxes, stacked up as high as we can reach. Farmers and mechanics come to us when they're trying to get their tractors back into the fields. They usually come in with a broken part in their hand. We have to find the match, which involves a lot of looking through old boxes and wiping away grease to find serial numbers. We don't have a website or an automated system. We just know where things are from years of doing this. When the Hadapsar sun gets hot in the summer, we just have one old fan that makes a lot of noise. We don't do much talking unless it’s about the parts. People around here appreciate that we don't waste their time with sales talk. We just find what they need and let them get back to their work. It’s a simple, gritty business, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep the doors open and the shelves stocked for whoever needs us to help them out.
