Devank Collection

Devank Collection is over in the New Gawali Complex in Bhosarigoan. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood usually come. The complex itself is fairly new, but it’s already got that lived-in feel. Our shop isn't very large. We’ve got our collection laid out as best as we can on the shelves and hangers. Bhosarigoan is a tight-knit place, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. We don't really do any big advertising or have a shiny sign out front. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The shop is usually quiet in the mornings, which is when we do our cleaning and restocking. By the evening, it gets a bit more lively. We don't have a staff of twenty people; it’s just a couple of us here making sure things stay organized. The counter is small, and there’s always a stack of bags ready for customers. We try to keep things simple and straightforward. If we don't have something, we just say so. We don't use any corporate talk or try to push things on people. It’s just a regular shop in a regular part of town. We’ve got a stool in the corner where we sit when there are no customers, just watching the street. It’s a decent way to spend the day and we are happy being part of Bhosarigoan.
