Deore

The office for Deore is located at D 15 Spring Flower in the Panchawati area of Pashan. Pashan is a bit quieter than the center of Pune which we really appreciate during the busy work week. There are some hills nearby and you can see a bit of green from the window if you lean out far enough. Our space in Spring Flower is quite modest and humble. It’s basically just one large room divided by some old wooden shelves we found. We keep all our equipment and files there. Deore is a small operation so we don't need a lot of room to get things done. Most days involve a lot of typing and looking through different documents. We have a small kettle in the corner to make tea because we drink a lot of it while we work on our projects. The building itself is well-maintained but our office inside is very plain. We don't have any art on the walls or fancy carpets to show off. The chairs are functional but nothing special or ergonomic. We usually start the day early and try to finish before the evening traffic gets too bad on the main road. Pashan can get quite windy in the evenings which is nice for cooling down the room. We don't really have a front desk so if someone comes by they just walk straight in and say hello. It’s a very informal environment where we just focus on the work that needs to be finished. It’s a good, quiet place to spend the day.
