Deepak Boutique & Varieties Gift House

I’m over at Niyoshi Park III, right across from the Bank of Maharashtra in Bhosari. The shop is called Deepak Boutique & Varieties Gift House. It’s a bit of a mix here. I started with just the boutique side because I liked the clothing part of it, but then added all the gift variety items later on. Now the place is full of different sections. You’ve got the clothes on one side and then all the gift stuff on the shelves in the back. It’s a bit crowded but it works for us. Most of the ladies from the surrounding buildings come by when they need something quick or want to see the new stock. Being opposite the bank helps because people wait for their turns and then wander over here to kill time. I usually sit near the counter where I can see the whole shop. Sometimes my family helps out when it gets busy during the festival season. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here in Niyoshi Park. The shop stays open pretty late most days. I spend a lot of time just organizing the small items so they don’t get lost. It’s a small business, nothing like those big malls, but we’ve been here for years and people seem to like the variety we keep in this little corner. I think it’s the personal touch that keeps folks coming back to see what’s new.
