Deepak Battery

Deepak Battery is located over in Dhanakawadi at 41576. Our place is basically filled with heavy black boxes and the smell of lead and acid. It’s not a fancy job, but it’s what we do. We spend most of our time lifting batteries, checking voltages, and getting our hands dirty. The shop floor is concrete and has seen better days, with plenty of marks from over the years. Dhanakawadi is a place where people are always moving, so we see a lot of folks whose cars or bikes won’t start. We don’t have a lot of space for sitting around. Most of the room is taken up by the stock we keep on the metal racks. Sometimes it gets really hot in here, especially when the sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon. We just keep the fan running and keep working. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the people around here know us as the place to go when they have power issues. We don't do much talking, just test the battery and tell you if it needs a charge or a replacement. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We are just a small part of the Dhanakawadi neighborhood, doing our bit to keep things running. No bells or whistles here, just batteries and hard work. You can usually find us sitting on the front step when it’s quiet.
