Pannas Creations

You can find us over at No. 33/21 Rama Smruti on Prabhat Road. It’s a nice part of Deccan Gymkhana, but it still gets quite busy with all the people moving around. Our space is usually tucked away with rolls of fabric and half-finished garments hanging on the racks. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always find someone with a measuring tape around their neck. We spend most of our hours looking at patterns and making sure the cuts are right. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s more of a workshop where the machines are always humming in the background. Sometimes we get distracted by the noise from the street, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work and talking to the people who walk through the door. Often, we’re just sitting on the floor sorting through buttons or thread colors. The light in the room isn't always perfect, but we make it work. We try to keep the place tidy, but when we’re busy, there are scraps of cloth everywhere. It feels like a real creative mess most days. We like being in this part of Pune because it feels like home. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to finish the day knowing the orders are ready and the machines are oiled for tomorrow.
