We are over at Shivprasad - B, which is right near the Kothrud Bus Depot on Paud Road. It is a very busy area with buses coming and going at all hours. Our shop is a bit quieter once you step inside. We do a lot of craft and fabric work here. It is mostly stuff for people who like to make things with their hands. There are rolls of felt and thread everywhere you look. It is a bit messy sometimes because we are always cutting things. We like the location because it is easy for people to reach us. Paud Road is a main artery of the city. We have some regular customers who have been coming for years. They usually stop by for a chat while they pick out their supplies. We do not have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know about the materials. Sometimes we get new stock and it takes us all day to sort it out. The building is older but it has a nice feel to it. We do not go in for big displays or bright lights. It is more of a practical space where people can find what they need. We just enjoy the work and the people who visit. It is a simple business run by people who care about what they do. Being near the depot means we see a lot of people just passing through. We have a small desk where we do all our billing. It feels more personal.
