Our office is over at Plot No. 14, Survey No. 128/4 in the Sanewadi area of Aundh. It’s a relatively quiet part of Pune compared to the city center, which is nice for the kind of thinking work we do. We handle engineering consultancy, which basically means people come to us with problems and we try to find a way to fix them. The office is usually full of papers, blueprints, and half-empty cups of tea. We’ve been in Aundh for quite a while and have seen it turn into a very busy place. We’re not the type to wear suits every day; we just dress regular and get to work. Most of our clients are local businesses or people who need some technical advice on a building project. We don't have a big glossy website or a sales team. We just answer the phone and talk to whoever is calling. Sometimes we spend the whole day out at a site checking measurements. It can be tiring, but it’s good to be out of the office. We have a small staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know each other’s habits pretty well by now. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we enjoy the challenges each new job brings. It keeps the mind sharp and there is always something different to look at every week.
