Dashrath Associates

Our office is located right there on Bhandarkar Road, near Dharavi Road. It’s a place where there is always something happening outside. Dashrath Associates is a small operation, and we’ve been working out of this area for a good while. The streets are narrow and usually packed with people and carts, which gives the whole place a lot of energy. Inside, we just have our basic setup. A few computers, some stacks of files that need sorting, and a couple of fans to keep the air moving. We deal with a lot of different associates and people from the neighborhood. It’s the kind of place where you can’t really be too formal because everyone knows everyone else. I spend my time making sure the paperwork is in order and answering the phone when it rings, which is pretty often. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here on Dharavi Road for years and people know where to find us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s just how things are in this part of the city. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We’re just a local office doing our part and keeping things moving. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn't have it any other way, I suppose.
