Our office is located at House Number 1216 on the 1st Cross in Laxmi Nagar, which is in the Kakati area of Belgaum. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, Dar Al Handasah Shair And Partners, but here in Belgaum, we just keep things straightforward. We are tucked away in a residential-looking street, which makes it a bit quieter than being right on the highway. The office itself is spread across a couple of rooms in this building. We’ve got desks with computers and a lot of technical drawings and papers scattered around. Even though we are part of a bigger name, this local branch feels very much like a part of the Belgaum community. The staff here mostly grew up around these parts, so we’re all familiar with how things work in Karnataka. We spend our days looking over plans and discussing projects. Sometimes we have to travel out to sites, but a lot of the work happens right here at these desks. The 1st Cross can get a bit muddy when it rains, but otherwise, it’s a nice enough place to work. We don’t have any big flashy signs out front, just a small plate with the name. People who need to find us usually do, mostly through word of mouth or by looking for the house number in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a professional environment but without all the corporate stiffness you might expect from a big name.
