Dadasaheb Kotkar is located over at Pancham Mall, specifically in Shop 34/A. The area around Nikol Gam Road is always moving. If you know Viman Nagar and the way it connects through Thube B G Anand, you will find the spot near Shree Gem. It is a busy corner of the world. I spend a lot of my morning just setting things up before anyone even shows up. The mall itself has its own rhythm. You hear the shutters going up in the morning and the sound of people talking in the corridors. My space isn't very large, but it works for what I do. There is a desk and a few chairs for people to sit if they have to wait. I’ve lived in this part of town for years, so I have seen how the buildings have gone up around Sopan Nagar. It used to be much quieter. Now there is always a motorbike or a car honking somewhere nearby. I keep a small radio on sometimes just to have some background noise while I work. People drop by mostly because they are already at the mall for something else. It is a practical location. I don't really do much in the way of decorating. I just keep things tidy and make sure there is enough light to see what I am doing. It is a simple life here and the neighbors are alright.
