D S Plastro

If you come down to Bhosari on Senapati Bapat Marg 10 10 you will find D S Plastro sitting right in the middle of the industrial zone. We are a small outfit that works with plastic molding and we have been here for a good amount of time. The shop is filled with the sound of the injection machines and the heat can be quite something in the middle of summer. We have these big bins of plastic granules in different colors like blue and red and grey. Most of our work involves setting up the molds and then watching the parts pop out one by one into the crates. There is always a pile of scrap plastic in the corner that we have to regrind later on. It is a bit of a noisy place and we usually have to shout a little bit to be heard over the hum of the motors. My desk is just a small wooden one in the corner covered in invoices and some old coffee mugs. We do not have any fancy signs or a big lobby just a rolling shutter door that stays open all day to let the air in. The trucks come by in the afternoon to pick up whatever we have finished and it is always a bit of a rush to get everything boxed up and labeled. It is just basic manufacturing work but it is what we know.
