D For Dessert

D For Dessert is our little shop located in Kothrud. We are specifically at VV Chandan Street 59. It’s a busy little corner and we’ve been here for a good amount of time now. We mostly just focus on our day-to-day tasks and try not to get too ahead of ourselves. The street is always moving with people and cars, so there’s always something to look at out the window. We started here in Kothrud because it felt right, and we haven’t really wanted to go anywhere else. VV Chandan Street 59 isn't too hard to find once you know where the main turns are. We have a few tables and a counter where we spend most of our lives. It’s nothing polished or fancy, just a normal place for people to stop by. Every morning we get the door ready and start the day. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy, especially in the afternoons, but we just keep doing what we do. D For Dessert has become a regular stop for some of the folks living nearby. We do all the cleaning and the prep work ourselves. Kothrud really feels like home to us after all these years. Number 59 is just a plain building on a plain street, but it’s where we work. We try to keep things simple without any loud marketing. We’ve got a routine that works for us. Some days are long, but that’s fine. We just take it as it comes.
