Cross Connection

Deccan Gymkhana is where we set up our shop. It is on that Devanahalli Road off near Surbhi Hote. People usually use the hotel as a way to find us since it is a big landmark in this part of town. We have been here at Cross Connection for a long time now. The place isn't very big but it works for what we do every day. Every morning we open the heavy doors and start the day. There is always noise from the street and the smell of food from the hotel nearby usually drifts over. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are usually too busy to get to that right now. We have some desks, some old chairs, and our equipment scattered around the room. It’s a bit messy sometimes but we know where everything is kept. The locals walk by and wave and we know most of the people who come in to see us. We don't go for fancy things or big signs. Just a simple board with the name on it. It’s mostly about getting the work finished and heading home. We like the area because it’s lively and there is always something happening outside on the road. If the rain comes down hard we have to move some stuff away from the door but that’s just how it is. We just keep our heads down and do the daily tasks.
