Dange Chowk is where we decided to set things up. If you’ve ever been to this part of Pune, you know it’s basically a massive crossroads where everyone is going somewhere else. It is loud, dusty, and always moving. Our space is right in the thick of it. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people. It’s just a door and then you’re in our workspace. We started here because the rent was fair and it’s easy for everyone to reach since the buses all stop nearby. Some days the traffic is so bad it takes forever to get across the street, but that’s just how it is here. Inside, we just have what we need. A few tables, some chairs, and a lot of folders. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get it done. We’re usually too busy with the day-to-day stuff. We know the guy at the tea stall and the watchman of the next building pretty well. It’s a very grounded way to work. No one is wearing suits here. We just wear what’s comfortable and get on with our jobs. It’s a practical location for a practical kind of business. We’ve been here long enough that the noise doesn't even register anymore. Just another day at the chowk, getting things done for our customers.
