Our place is over in Kasba Peth, right in the old heart of Pune. If you know the city, you know how narrow these lanes can get. We are on the fourth floor of Rajarshi Apartment, specifically B Wing, Flat 17. There isn't an elevator that works all the time, so we get our exercise climbing up. The building has that old Pune charm, where you know all your neighbors and what they are cooking for lunch. From the balcony, you can see the rooftops of other old buildings and the temples nearby. It’s a bit noisy because of the markets, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We didn’t choose this place for the looks. It was just available and it’s right in the middle of everything. Inside, it’s pretty simple. We have our files, some old furniture, and a couple of computers. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we manage. Kasba Peth has a lot of history, and being here makes you feel like you’re part of the city’s actual life, not some sterile corporate park. We mostly just stick to our routine. We show up, deal with the paperwork, talk to whoever drops by, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but it works for what we need. It's just a regular local setup in 411011 and we like it here.
