Computer Operator

Working in Phule Nagar in Pune is quite a trip. I'm located at Plot No 3423, right near Sr No 8798. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but once you find the spot, it’s just a standard workspace for a computer operator. I spend most of my mornings booting up the machines and checking what needs to be finished from the day before. Pune is always moving fast, but inside here, things are a bit slower, mostly just the sound of clicking and the fan running. I handle a lot of data entry and basic computer tasks that people don't want to deal with themselves. Sometimes the internet is slow and I have to find something else to do while pages load. The office isn't big, but it’s enough for what I do. I’ve lived in Pune for a long time, so I’m used to the pace. People drop by with USB sticks or papers they need scanned, and I just get to it. I don’t use any complicated systems, just the basics that work. There’s a lot of dust sometimes from the road nearby, so I’m always wiping down the monitors. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what I know. Being at this Phule Nagar address feels right because it’s close to everything. I usually just stay here until the work is finished, even if it takes a bit longer than I planned. I've got a small window but it doesn't show much besides the street, which is fine for getting work done.
