Chetan Engineers

Chetan Engineers is located at 295 Ganj Peth in Pune. If you’ve been to Ganj Peth, you know it’s a place where things get made. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or machines running somewhere nearby. Our shop at 295 is not very large, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. It’s usually pretty dusty because of the work we do, and the walls have oil stains from years of handling parts. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a workshop with a couple of heavy tables and some old tools that still work better than the new ones. I spend most of my day in my work clothes, which are usually stained with grease. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially when we have a lot of orders to finish. Pune 42 is our area, and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors don't mind the noise we make during the day. Sometimes we have to move stuff out onto the sidewalk just to have enough room to turn around. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know us from being in the area for so long. It’s just honest engineering work done by people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving.
