If you know the Mundhwa Bridge, you know how busy this area gets with all the trucks and cars passing through. Our place is near the bridge, so we hear the traffic all day long. Inside the warehouse, it is mostly about boxes and pallets. We spend a lot of time moving things around and checking what came in and what needs to go out. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s baking outside in Chandan Nagar. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the bridge traffic, which can be a real headache in the afternoons. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next truck to pull in. There is always a list of items to track and someone is usually on the phone trying to find a missing package. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying, and then some sitting at the old wooden desks to update the logs. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we handle the goods. The neighborhood has changed a lot lately with new buildings, but we just keep doing our usual routine here near the bridge. We try to keep things organized as best as we can.
