Car Parlour

Our shop, Car Parlour, is tucked away in Parvati on Panjrapole Lane 686/1. It’s a spot where there is always water on the ground and the sound of a pressure washer running. We spend our days washing off the mud from the city streets and vacuuming out crumbs from under car seats. It is wet, messy work and by the end of the shift, our boots are usually soaked. We don't call ourselves a high-end detailing studio or anything like that. We are just a place where you bring your car when it gets too dirty to look at. Panjrapole Lane can be a bit tight, but we manage to fit the cars in. We have some basic soaps and brushes and we just get to it. Sometimes a car comes in really bad after a trip to the countryside, and those take us a long time to get right. We don't have a waiting room with a TV, just a few plastic chairs in the shade. People around Parvati know us and often stop by just to chat while we finish up a wash. It is a simple business. We work hard, we use a lot of water, and we try to make sure we didn't miss a spot on the wheels. It’s just us, some sponges, and a lot of cars coming through the lane every day.
