Calicolo Seeds Private Limited is tucked away in Row House Number 18 over at J P Homes. We are right off the Solapur Road in Manjari BK. If you know the area, you know how busy that road gets with all the trucks and people heading into Pune or out towards Solapur. The office isn’t much to look at, just a regular row house where we keep our records and talk to people about seeds. We deal with farmers and suppliers all day, so there is usually a lot of talk about soil and what’s growing well this season. It gets pretty cramped inside sometimes when we have a lot of bags moving through or when a few people stop by at once. Manjari has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings, but we are still focused on the same basic things. We don't have a receptionist or fancy coffee machines. Usually, one of us just puts the kettle on if someone visits. The seeds are the main thing, and making sure they get where they need to go on time. The traffic on Solapur Road can be a real pain when we are trying to load up or get somewhere, but you get used to it. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working hard in this little corner of Manjari. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people knowing who we are. It keeps us busy.
