We operate Burhani Enteprises out of Guruwar Peth, right in the Electronic Sadan - 1 area of Midc 39. It’s a place where things are being built and fixed all the time. Our day usually starts with checking what stock we have left and seeing what the local technicians are looking for. We deal with a lot of electronic parts and bits that go into bigger machines. It’s not the kind of shop where you go for window shopping. People come here because they need a specific component or a tool to finish a job. The shelves are filled with boxes of different sizes, and honestly, it looks a bit confusing to anyone else, but we have a system. The area around Guruwar Peth is always busy with small businesses and workshops. We hear the sounds of work all day long. Sometimes we have to spend hours on the phone trying to track down a part that isn't made anymore. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the numbers match up. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the inventory. We have a small desk where we keep the computer, but half the time it’s covered in catalogs and circuit board samples. If someone comes in looking for something we don't have, we usually try to tell them which other shop in the MIDC might carry it. There’s a sense of just helping each other out. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp.
