If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how it is—always someone moving a bale of cloth or a truck trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. We’ve been at 31 for a long time. It’s a small space, mostly filled with samples and ledgers. We don't have a fancy waiting area for clients. If you come by, you’ll probably just sit on a stool and have a glass of water. It’s a practical environment. We don't see the point in spending a lot on decorations when the work is what matters. Dhanakawadi has a lot of energy, and being in the cloth market means there’s never a dull moment. We know the other shop owners and the guys who deliver the stock. It’s a community. Our office might be a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We don't use a lot of fancy software or corporate systems; we mostly use pen and paper for the important stuff. It works for us and has for years. We aren't looking to grow into some huge empire. We just want to keep doing what we’re doing at number 31. It’s a simple life, and the market keeps us on our toes every single day. We don't mind the noise and the dust.
