Boston Analytics

Our Pune office is over in Kothrud, right in the Balaji Complex. We are on the third floor in Flat Number 9. It’s a pretty good spot because we are quite close to the Yeshwant Rao Chauhan Natyagrah. You can usually tell what’s playing at the theater by the crowds outside. Boston Analytics is the name on the door, but inside, it’s just a bunch of us sitting at our laptops looking at data. Kothrud has changed a lot over the years, becoming so much more crowded, but it still has that nice Pune feel to it. The office is a converted flat, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee, and the balcony has a view of the street below. We don’t go for all that corporate talk or big presentations. We just focus on the analytics work we have for the day. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and we end up ordering food from the place around the corner. It’s a relaxed atmosphere for the most part. No one wears suits or anything like that. We just want to do our jobs well and go home. The internet goes out occasionally when the weather is bad, but we’ve learned to deal with the quirks of the building. It’s a solid place to work and the neighborhood has everything we need within walking distance.
