Bombay Goods Transport

You can find our office on the ground floor over at 46/2 Pune Satara Road. We are situated on Woodland Road in Kothrud, which is right across from the City Pride cinema. It’s a very loud and active area, especially when a new movie comes out and the traffic piles up. We handle goods transport, which mostly means we deal with a lot of boxes, crates, and heavy items. Our day starts early, usually before the sun is fully up, as we coordinate with the drivers. The office isn't anything special. It has a few chairs, a lot of delivery receipts, and always a layer of dust from the main road. We don’t have a big marketing department or a polished public image. We’re just a transport outfit that knows the roads around Pune and Satara. People come to us when they need to send something heavy to another city and don’t want to deal with the big, expensive companies. We tell them when the truck is leaving and what the price will be. There’s no hidden stuff. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking the weather to make sure the loads stay dry. We’ve been at this Kothrud location for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. But the work of moving goods stays pretty much the same every day.
