We are located out at Plot No. 48 in the Industrial Estate, right off the Pune-Nasik Highway. Being near the highway means there’s a lot of trucks and heavy traffic passing by at all hours. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly a quiet place to work. We have a large shed where we do most of our work. It’s got high ceilings and can get a bit cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. We don’t have fancy office furniture; mostly just metal desks and stools that have been here for years. We deal with international trade, so we are often checking shipping schedules and talking to people in different time zones. It’s a lot of logistics. The road leading up to the plot is a bit bumpy, so you have to drive carefully. We have a small crew of workers who handle the loading and unloading. We usually eat lunch together in the small break room. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We focus on getting the orders out on time. There’s always a bit of grease and oil around because of the machinery. We don’t really dress up for work; just jeans and shirts that we don’t mind getting dirty. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of the people here have been doing this for a long time, so they know the routine inside and out.
