Bharat Transport Corporation

We are located at Plot No 30 in Sector No 23, which is right in the heart of Transport Nagar in Nigdi. Since we are in Transport Nagar, you can imagine there are trucks everywhere you look. Bharat Transport Corporation has been part of this scene for a long time. Our office is a simple place where we manage all the routes and schedules. It’s usually quite dusty because of all the vehicles moving around outside. We don't bother with fancy decorations; we just have what we need to get the job done. The air usually smells like diesel and tea. We spend our time talking to drivers and making sure they have the right directions and documents. It’s a lot of coordination. Some days the phones don't stop ringing. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know our roles. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We are usually in old clothes because things can get a bit messy in the yard. We have been here so long that we know all the other transport companies nearby. It’s a community of sorts. We just focus on keeping our trucks on the road and making sure the goods arrive. It’s hard work, but we are used to the pace of life here in Nigdi. We just get through the pile of work and start again the next morning.
