Bharat Tank & Vessels

Over at 7C/9 in Agrasen Nagar, Dapodi, is where Bharat Tank & Vessels is set up. As you can probably guess from the name, we spend a lot of our time working on big tanks and various types of vessels. It’s heavy work. You need a lot of room for things like that, so our yard is usually pretty crowded with steel plates and half-finished cylinders. Dapodi is a good spot for us, though the roads can get a bit cramped when we’re trying to move the big stuff out. We aren't a high-tech office. We’re a bunch of guys with welding torches and grinders. The noise can be a bit much for some, but it’s just the sound of work to us. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that hanging on the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of jobs that need to get done. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoons, making the metal almost too hot to touch, but we manage. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know the tricks of the trade. It’s not always pretty, and we’re usually covered in soot by the end of the shift. But when a tank is finished and ready to go, it’s a good feeling. We’re just a regular business in Agrasen Nagar doing what we know best.
