Bhanari Clinic

Bhanari Clinic is a bit different because we are located in Uttkarsha Nagar Housing Soc, specifically in Building No B/5, Flat No 6. Since we are based in a residential area like Hadapsar, it feels much more like a home than a sterile clinic. You have to come into the housing society and find our building, which can be a little confusing for people visiting the first time. The flat isn't huge, so things can feel a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting at once. We have a few benches set up and some old magazines that have seen better days. Most of our visitors are people who live right here in the society or just a few streets over in Hadapsar. We know most of their names and their kids' names too. It is usually quiet here, except when the kids are playing downstairs in the common area. We don’t have a big neon sign or anything, just a small board so you know you are at Flat No 6. The kitchen area of the flat is where we keep the kettle going for our breaks. It is a practical way to run things, being right where the people are. We spend our days checking temperatures, writing out notes, and chatting with neighbors who stop by. It is just a small, local clinic doing what it can in a regular housing block.
