Bhagwati Plaster

Bhagwati Plaster is located over in Akurdi at Dhyaneshwar Colony 170. If you come looking for us, look for the place with some white dust near the entrance. We spend most of our time out at different sites, so the office isn't always full of people. My hands are usually covered in some kind of grey mix by midday. Plastering is heavy work and it’s messy, there’s no way around that part. We carry the bags, mix the materials, and try to get the walls looking flat. It’s not about being perfect, but about doing a solid job so the paint stays on later. The colony here is alright, mostly families and a few shops like ours. Sometimes the rain slows us down because the mix won’t dry, and those days we just sit around the shop fixing the tools. I’ve got a couple of guys helping me out, and we mostly just get on with it without much talking. We don't have a big fancy office with chairs for guests, just a few stools and some buckets. People usually call us because they saw us working on a neighbor's house. It’s a simple way to run things. We show up, we do the walls, and then we move to the next one. It’s been that way for years and I don’t see it changing much. Just hard work and a lot of cleanup afterward. It keeps us busy and pays the bills for our families.
