If you go down to Dhayarigaon, you will find us at number 549. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that is where our base is. We have been in the packing and moving business for quite some time now. It’s mostly manual labor. We carry heavy beds, sofas, and boxes full of clothes. Some days the stairs are narrow and we have to struggle to get a wardrobe around a tight corner. It makes you tired, but that is the job we chose. The office in Dhayarigaon is a small room with a fan that makes a lot of noise. We sit there and wait for the phone to ring. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to finish the day’s work and go home. We use simple tools, mostly just ropes, tape, and blankets. The guys who work with me are from the village and they are good workers. We usually eat our lunch together under a tree near the parking spot. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We don't do any flashy promotions. If you need to move your house, you just come and find us at 549. We tell you when we can come and that is that. The weather can be a problem sometimes, especially when it’s too hot to carry heavy things, but we manage. It’s just how it goes here. We make sure the truck is packed tight so nothing moves around.
