My place is over in Ghorpade Peth at Kothi 514. It’s an old area with a lot of history, and the building reflects that. It isn't one of those new glass towers you see popping up in other parts of the city. It’s got thick walls and small windows, which keeps it relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. I’ve been working from this location for quite a while now. The space inside is filled with various bits and pieces I’ve collected over the years. It might look a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time, but I know exactly where I’ve put every single document. People in the neighborhood know the Kothi well. I don’t do much advertising; people just hear about me from someone else and show up at the door. We usually sit down, have a quick talk about what’s needed, and then I get to it. It’s a very practical arrangement. I don't have a team of people under me, so it’s just me handling everything from start to finish. Some days the stairs feel a bit steeper than they used to, but I like the routine. It’s a solid, quiet place to get things done without being bothered by the fast pace of the main market streets. That is the way I have always done things and it seems to work.
