Ashangh Ayurvedic Aushdhavaya

We are located over at 7 Kothrud Ring Road 8. It is a spot that many people in the Kothrud area know fairly well. Ashangh Ayurvedic Aushdhavaya is a place where we keep a lot of traditional herbs and medicines. The smell of the different roots and powders hits you as soon as you walk in. It is a very specific scent that you don't find in modern pharmacies. Our space is filled with jars and packets on various shelves. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The Ring Road gets quite a lot of traffic, so there is always a bit of a hum from the vehicles outside. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We mostly talk to people about their long-term health and what natural things might help them out. It is a slow process compared to modern medicine, but many people prefer it this way. The shop is small and the lighting is a bit dim in the back. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people come here because someone else told them about us. It is a quiet kind of business. We spend our mornings sorting through new shipments of herbs. It is hard work but it feels right to be doing it in this part of Kothrud.
