As A Junior Design Engg.

I work over on Sinhagad Road in Pune. My title is junior design engineer, but that really just means I do a lot of the groundwork for the bigger projects. Pune is a big city for engineering, so there is always a lot to learn. My office is usually a mess of papers and different parts we are testing out. I moved here not too long ago to start this job. Some days are spent entirely in front of a monitor, clicking through designs. Other days I’m talking to the senior guys trying to figure out why something isn't fitting right. Sinhagad Road is always packed with people and traffic, especially in the evenings. I usually grab a snack from a street vendor before heading into the office. It isn't a high-rise building with glass walls. It's just a regular place where we get work done. I'm still learning the ropes, making mistakes, and fixing them as I go. That's the only way to get better at design. The weather in Pune is nice, which helps when I need to clear my head. We don't have a big team. It’s just a few of us trying to solve problems. I don't wear a suit to work. Usually, it's just jeans and a shirt because we might have to get our hands dirty in the workshop later. It's basic stuff but it keeps me busy and I'm learning something new every single day.
