Architectural Designing & Planning

Our office is tucked into Jay Ganesh Vision at 22 Akurdi, right on S V Road. We are pretty close to the Fame Multiplex Theatre, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are coming for a meeting. Architectural Designing & Planning is where we spend our hours leaning over big tables full of drawings and blueprints. The walls are covered with sketches and half-finished ideas that we’ve been working on. It’s a busy spot because S V Road always has traffic moving, and you can hear the horns honking throughout the day. We have a lot of books on building codes and materials piled up on the floor because the shelves are already full. It isn’t the neatest office you’ll ever see, but it’s where the work happens. People come in with an idea of what they want to build, and we spend the afternoon trying to make it fit on the paper. Sometimes we go through a lot of erasers and red pens before we get it right. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking and then drawing again. We’ve got a small window that looks out towards the theatre area, which is nice when you need to rest your eyes for a minute. It’s just a regular local office where we try to get the plans drawn up correctly for whoever walks through the door.
