Architect Suryawanshi Chivate & Associates is located right in Budhwar Peth 4Th Cross 534. If you know the area, you know it is always crowded and full of life. Our office is tucked away in that part of town. We have been working out of this spot for years. It is a small team here, mostly just a few of us hunched over desks. We do a lot of work for local shops and old houses in the neighborhood. Sometimes the buildings are quite old, so we have to be careful about how we change things. We talk to the contractors a lot. There is usually a lot of noise from the street outside, but we are used to it by now. We handle the paperwork, the site visits, and the floor plans. It is more about solving problems than anything else. Like when a room is too dark or the stairs are too steep. We just sit down and draw until it works. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come to 534, you will probably see us looking at a large map or talking on the phone with a supplier. It is a bit messy with all the rolled-up papers in the corners. We just keep busy and try to get the blueprints out on time. Sometimes we have to go out and measure things three times just to be sure. It saves trouble later on when the bricks start being laid.
