Arch House

Arch House is located in Shop Number 14 of the Shan Darshan Building in Bhawani Peth. We are right near the Jain Mandir, so it’s a fairly easy spot to find if you are in that part of Pune. The shop isn't very large, but it’s enough for our small team to work. We have a couple of desks and a big table where we spread out our drawings. There are usually some scale models sitting in the corner, gathering a bit of dust. We do architecture work, mostly for people right here in the neighborhood. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and we know many of the shopkeepers around us. It’s a busy area, so there is always the sound of scooters and people talking outside. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just like to sit down with a client, hear what they need for their building, and then try to put it on paper. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time arguing over small details in the plans. It’s a simple life and a simple job. We aren't into fancy presentations. We just show people what we’re thinking and see if they like it. Sometimes we’re out at a site all day, and other times we’re here until late at night finishing a drawing. It’s just how the work goes for us and the people who hire us.
