I have my space set up over in Aundh, specifically at A 2 15. It is a quiet enough spot for an architect to sit and think, though the neighborhood has changed a lot over the years. Being in Aundh means there is always a bit of life nearby, which I quite like. I don't have a giant office with a big reception desk or anything like that. It is mostly just me and a few tools of the trade, plenty of paper, and a computer that gets a lot of use. The lighting in this part of the building is actually pretty good in the afternoons, which helps when I am trying to see small details on a drawing. I spend a lot of my time right here, just working through different ideas. Sometimes the neighbors are a bit loud, or you hear the sounds of the street, but it keeps things feeling real. It’s a simple setup. I don't really go for the whole corporate look. My desk is usually a bit of a mess with pens and different sketches scattered around, but I know where everything is. People who come by usually know the area well. It’s a straightforward way to work, just focusing on one thing at a time without too much fuss. Aundh is a good place to be based, even with the parking being a bit of a headache sometimes.
