Applied Technologies is based out of 2A/11 in Pimpri Transport Nagar. If you’ve ever been to Transport Nagar, you know it’s mostly just trucks and warehouses everywhere you look. Our place is right in the middle of all that. It’s a practical location because everything we need is right nearby. The building itself is pretty plain and painted a dull grey color. We have a couple of rooms where we keep the equipment and a small area for people to sit if they have to wait. It’s not exactly a comfortable lounge, just some plastic chairs we bought a long time ago. The floor is concrete and shows all the scuff marks from the crates we move. We spend most of our time looking at screens or fixing things that have stopped working. It’s quiet inside compared to the roar of the trucks outside on the main road. My desk is always a mess with cables and small parts that I mean to put away but never do. We don’t really have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing we are here. Most of our work comes from the other businesses in the industrial zone. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and try to finish up by the time the evening traffic starts to build up on the highway. It’s just honest work for people who need things fixed.
