Andhra Traders

Andhra Traders is located right at No. 2, Navi Peth. Being near Chitra Chock means there is always a lot of movement and noise around us from morning until the evening. We have been operating from this specific spot for some time, handling the daily ins and outs of the trading business. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular place with a lot of goods piled up wherever we can find space. Usually, the mornings start with opening the heavy iron shutters and sweeping out the front steps. Customers drop in throughout the day, some just asking for prices and others looking for specific items they can't find in the bigger stores. It’s a tight space inside, but we generally know where everything is kept among the boxes. If someone asks for something specific, we usually have to move a few crates to get to it. The area around Chitra Chock is always buzzing, so we hear the constant horns and people talking all day long. We don't really do any advertising or fancy brochures. People in the neighborhood just know we are here. Sometimes the tea stall guy from around the corner brings over a few cups while we’re sorting through the new inventory. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We just buy what is needed and sell it to the folks who walk through the door. The accounts take up some time at night.
