You can find Anandi Vastu Consultant over on Hadapsar Main Road. We are at 13 1 A. The street is always full of traffic and people going to the market. We have a small office where we spend most of our time looking at maps and floor plans. Vastu is something people around here take seriously when they are building a new house or moving. We don't have a big team of experts. It is just a couple of us who know the work well. The office is pretty simple with some plastic chairs and a wooden table that has seen better days. Since Hadapsar is growing so fast with all the new construction, we stay pretty busy. We don't go out and hand out flyers or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they saw our name on the door or heard about us from a neighbor. We spend a lot of time listening to people talk about their homes and the problems they are having. Sometimes we have to go out and visit the actual sites to see how the land lies. It is very practical work. You have to look at where the sun comes in and how the wind blows. We’ve been at this same spot for a long time now. The people in the shops next to us are all friends. We usually stay open until it gets dark. It is just a steady, honest way to make a living.
