Anand Parcel Service is located at 301 on the 80 Feet Road in Shaniwar Peth. If you know the area, you know that 80 Feet Road can get really congested during peak hours. Our place is usually buzzing with people dropping off or picking up packages. We have shelves lined with boxes of all shapes and sizes. Shaniwar Peth is an old part of the city, so there’s a lot of character around here, but the streets are a bit of a maze. We’ve been at this location for a while. The office isn't very big, and we often have to stack things high to make room for everyone to walk. We use a lot of ledgers and pens; we aren't the type to do everything on fancy tablets. There’s usually a pot of water in the corner and a fan that squeaks a little when it's on high. The staff knows most of the regular customers by name. We hear about their families and their businesses while we’re weighing their parcels. It’s a busy life, and the hours can be quite long, especially around the holidays when everyone is sending stuff. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. Once the parcels are sorted, we have to get them onto the transport as fast as possible. It’s just how the days go by here on 80 Feet Road. We just keep sorting until the work is finished.
