Amit Patil Associates is situated at number 16 on Satara Road. This is a major road, so there is never a dull moment with all the cars and bikes rushing past. The office is in a building that has been around for some time. It has those heavy wooden doors and high ceilings that keep the place relatively cool even when it is baking outside. Inside, the desks are covered with folders and blueprints because that is the kind of work we do. There are three of us usually working here, and we have known each other for years. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to manage our social media. Most of our work comes from people just knowing where we are on Satara Road. The walls are a neutral beige, and we have a few maps pinned up for reference. There is a small window that looks out onto the back alley, which is much quieter than the front. We keep a regular schedule, starting around ten and finishing up whenever the last task is done. The coffee machine is the most used piece of equipment in the whole place. We do not try to sound like a big firm because we are not. We are just a group of associates who know our job and stick to it. If you come by, you might find us arguing over a drawing or just sharing a joke during a break. The stairs are a bit steep, so we take them slowly in the morning.
