If you head out towards Rajgurunagar on Wada Road, you'll find us at Sugandha Baug. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city of Pune, but being out here in Tal Khed has its own pace. The air is a bit clearer and there’s more room to breathe. This location is where Alpha Foam Ltd handles a lot of the heavier lifting and storage for the business. We’ve got a good amount of space here, which is necessary because foam takes up a lot of room even if it doesn’t weigh much. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so everyone knows each other’s business and whose kid is doing what at school. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We’re usually in sturdy clothes and boots, moving crates or checking the loading docks. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floors inside. It’s a practical environment. We have a small office area with a few old computers where we track the shipments going out to different parts of the district. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a gate, a warehouse, and a group of people who have been doing this for years. We start early in the morning when it's still cool outside and try to get the big loads moved before the sun gets too high.
